Dingly Dell is an ancient Adnyamathanha petroglyph site which has a number of engravings dating back as far as 40,000 years ago. Consume yourself in amazing stories of our people’s ancient history on this land, and how we lived with ancient pre historic animals which these have a connection to our Muda/history.

A short leisurely walk will be had through the carving site with a Adnyamathanha guide. You will also be treated to bush tucker, bush medicines, plants and animals of significance and be taught Adnyamathanha MUDA (history) mythology/creation stories.

Sacred Canyon is located approximately 20km from Ikara / Wilpena pound resort.
You will be lead through an ancient Canyon by an experienced Adnyamathanha guide.

Arkaroo rock is a beautiful rock shelter with traditional ochre and charcoal paintings in the shadow of Ikara (wilpena pound) surrounded by rugged mountain ranges that depicts the Yura Muda (creation story) of Ikara.
