Arkaroo rock is a beautiful rock shelter with traditional ochre and charcoal paintings in the shadow of Ikara (wilpena pound) surrounded by rugged mountain ranges that depicts the Yura Muda (creation story) of Ikara.

On this self-drive tag-along tour you will enjoy spectacular scenery while learning about ancient Adnyamathanha culture. Guests must have their own vehicle to transfer from the Wadna shop to Arkaroo Rock. Bookings cancelled 48 hours or more prior to commencement will receive a full refund. Within 48 hours or in the event of a no-show 100% of the experience price will be charged.
