Beautiful stop during our trip! Kristian and his wife are so warm and welcoming. You can enjoy looking at aboriginal art while Kristian hand makes another piece. Great place to learn more about the culture. Gifts and handmade art pieces are reasonably priced and unique. We look forward to returning for a guided tour 🙂
My husband and I went on a private tour with Kristian into the Glass Gorge. We were hoping for an enriching cultural experience. What we actually received far outweighed our smallest expectations. It was one of the most memorable days of our entire lives. Not only did we feel welcomed to country but we felt the ancestors were speaking their stories through Kristian. His knowledge of the language was outstanding but we really liked that he spoke in his language first then explained in English. With every step deeper into the gorge we felt the ancestors embrace us in welcome. It left us speechless and in awe. The memory of that day will stay with us forever.
Such a wonderful place to visit. Kirstan and Gabriel are very welcoming people with a wealth of knowledge.

We highly recommend booking a tour with Kristian. We joined a small group tour to the Sacred Canyon from Wilpena Pound, our group included adults and children.
Kristian is a fantastic guide - he's incredibly knowledgeable, generous in sharing his culture and experiences, he's kind and funny. He kept the adults and children captivated!
Kristian taught us about the land, plants and animals of the region. He also generously shared the history, stories and art from his family and ancestors. A visit to the Canyon would be meaningless without Kristian pointing out the incredible ancient carvings, and explaining the context and meanings (you are only able to visit this very special area with a guide).
We loved having Kristian as our guide. This tour was a real highlight of our time in the Flinders Ranges - we highly recommend!

I want to give this place a 10 out of 5, but it won't let me!! Do yourself a favour, and do not leave this off your itinerary! We'll worth the visit!! Very interesting & knowledgeable owners, and great little shop. Support a genuine local small business.

Kristian and his family have a wonderful shop and are are so welcoming. I would recommend stopping in if in the area to check it out and listen to Kristiens stories of the Adnyamathanha people.

My first visit to this shop today was one to remember- I felt welcomed and like I was a part of the family, also deeply immersed into the culture and story telling. Kristian and Gaby, the owners, took their time to explain the origins behind their creations which made it so much more extra special. The place has a very healing and grounding energy about it, I can’t wait to embrace my purchases today and to stay connected to this place.

fantastic people, fantastic place, fantastic products - and the best kangaroo jerky around! a must-visit on any flinders ranges journey. i loved learning about Adnyamathanha stories, language, knowledge, and history. there is so much passion here, and Kristian & Gabriel go above and beyond! cannot recommend enough.
Sally, we had to compete with a tour bus. I could have spent a long time with these people. Passionate and very knowledgeable in an inclusive way. A great find.
Did a cultural tour with Kristian which was very informative & the knowledge shared was amazing. Art work in the shop was beautiful. Gifts also very authentic. Well worth the stop.

Kristen’s tours are wonderful and he is very generous in sharing his knowledge and love of country. We learnt heaps and especially enjoyed his stories of local people and landscape. We also visited Wadna and bought some gorgeous local craft and bush tucker.

We visited today and can highly recommend a visit. Not only are the family very friendly and accommodating to our ever changing minds, they went out of there way to tell us stories about the Seven Sisters art piece Kristian was working on. We left with two new pieces of artwork to compliment our walls and a new cultural story for our children.

Wendy & I spent a day with Kristian and learnt so much about the creation stories. We had some marri mai (bush tucker) and saw some really cool artwork on a couple of very informative tours.
We learnt some yura ngawarla (Adnyamathanha language).
Both Kristian and Gabby are beautiful people, super friendly and very welcoming.
Wendy & I feel like we have known them both for ever and look forward to remaining in contact.
We have so much to learn about the Adnyamathanha Yarra (country) and stories.

We loved the shop with it’s extensive stock of art and all sorts of other stuff. Kristian and Gabby are very welcoming and freindly. Kristian is an amazing storyteller.
We also did a walk near Dingly Dell with Kristian, which was a fantastic eperience. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and shares Adnyamathanha stories, language and knowledge brilliantly.

Hubby and I went out to have a look at Wadna after having lunch at the Blinman Pub.
OMG what a fantastic spot Gabby and Kristen are very welcoming and some amazing products. We didn't leave empty handed.
I tried a product called Nanna Kits Bush Balm so far I have had positive results with it will definitely be buying some more when I run out.

We recently asked Kristian to come and see our new Palliative care units at the Kimba Hospital in the hope that he could provide us with a couple of canvases that instilled a sense of peace for people through their journey. Kristian is extremely talented, and made awards that were the best that many of the runners had ever seen. They really added an extra level to the sense of accomplishment by the runners.
